Creator Verification & Blue Tick Policy

1. What is Creator Verification?

Creator Verification is StarSkore's identity confirmation process for celebrities, influencers, public figures, and content creators who wish to establish an authentic presence on the Platform. Verification ensures that fans are interacting with the real person, not an impersonator or fake account.

Verified creators gain access to Creator Tools, including posting, live streaming, analytics, and monetization features. Verification is free and available to all eligible creators.

2. How to Apply

Applying for Creator Verification is simple:

• Step 1: Create a StarSkore account and complete your profile with accurate information.
• Step 2: Navigate to Settings > Creator Verification.
• Step 3: Upload your government-issued ID and any supporting documents.
• Step 4: Submit your application and wait for review.
• Step 5: Receive notification of approval or rejection within 24–72 hours.

There is no cost to apply for verification. We do not charge fees for verification or Blue Tick badges.

3. Required Documents

To verify your identity, you must submit at least one of the following:

• Government-Issued ID: Passport, driver's license, national ID card, or other official government identification. Must be current and clearly legible.
• Supporting Evidence (Optional): Links to official social media accounts, press articles, or other public records that confirm your identity and public status.

Documents must be submitted in JPG, PNG, or PDF format. All text must be clearly visible. Blurred, cropped, or altered documents will be rejected.

4. Review Process

All verification applications are reviewed by our human moderation team within 24–72 hours. The review process includes:

• Verification that the submitted ID is valid and matches the account holder's name.
• Cross-referencing with public records, official social media, or press coverage.
• Assessment of whether the applicant is a public figure, celebrity, or content creator.
• Checking for duplicate or fraudulent applications.

We do not use automated facial recognition or AI-based identity verification. All decisions are made by trained human moderators.

5. Approval & Creator Tools Access

Upon approval, you will receive:

• Verified Status: Your account is marked as identity-verified in our system.
• Creator Tools: Access to posting, live streaming, analytics dashboard.
• Profile Badge: A subtle verification indicator on your profile (not the Blue Tick — see Section 8).
• Priority Support: Access to creator support channels for faster assistance.

6. Rejection & Reasons

Applications may be rejected for the following reasons:

• Invalid Documents: Expired, blurry, or unrecognizable ID documents.
• Mismatch: The name on the ID does not match the account name.
• Not a Public Figure: The applicant does not demonstrate sufficient public presence or creator status.
• Fraudulent Application: Suspected fake documents or impersonation attempt.
• Policy Violations: The applicant has a history of violating StarSkore policies.

Rejection notifications include the specific reason and guidance on how to address it.

7. Re-application

If your application is rejected, you may reapply after a 30-day waiting period. Before reapplying:

• Address the reason for rejection (e.g., submit clearer documents, update profile information).
• Ensure your account is in good standing with no active policy violations.
• Build your public presence if rejection was due to insufficient public figure status.

There is no limit to the number of times you can reapply, but each application requires a 30-day gap from the previous rejection.

8. Blue Tick (✅) Badge

The Blue Tick is a public-facing badge that signals to fans that a creator is both identity-verified and has achieved a meaningful following on the Platform.

Who Qualifies

• Creators who have successfully completed identity verification.
• Creators who have reached 1,000 or more followers on StarSkore.

How to Apply

Once you meet both criteria, a "Apply for Blue Tick" button appears on your profile. The application is one-click and automatic — no additional documents are required.

What It Means

• The Blue Tick confirms that StarSkore has verified the creator's identity.
• It does not constitute an endorsement of the creator's content, character, or opinions by StarSkore.
• It does not guarantee the accuracy of the creator's posts or claims.

Revocation Conditions

The Blue Tick may be revoked if:

• The creator violates the Content Policy or Community Guidelines.
• The creator's account is suspended or banned.
• The creator's verified identity is found to be fraudulent or misrepresented.
• The creator requests removal of the badge.

9. Document Security

Your verification documents are protected with the highest security standards:

• Encryption: All documents are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
• Access Control: Only authorized human moderators can access submitted documents. No automated systems process your ID images.
• Deletion: Documents are permanently deleted within 72 hours of the verification decision, regardless of approval or rejection.
• No Public Storage: Documents are never stored publicly, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than identity verification.
• No Biometric Scanning: We do not perform facial recognition, fingerprint analysis, or any biometric processing on your documents.
