DMCA & Copyright Policy

1. Respect for Intellectual Property

StarSkore respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users of the Platform to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws.

Users who upload content to StarSkore represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all necessary rights to share that content. Posting copyrighted material without authorization is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account suspension or termination.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Request)

If you believe that content on StarSkore infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown request. To be effective, your notice must include the following information:

• Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list of such works.
• Identification of the infringing material that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit StarSkore to locate the material (e.g., URL of the post or profile).
• Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the user who posted it.

3. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the federal district courts located in Los Angeles County, California, if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and inform them that the material may be restored in 10 business days unless they file a court action seeking an order against the user.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

StarSkore has a strict repeat infringer policy. Users who receive multiple valid DMCA takedown notices will be subject to the following:

• First valid notice: Content is removed, and the user receives a warning.
• Second valid notice: Content is removed, and the user receives a final warning.
• Third valid notice: The user's account is permanently terminated, and they are prohibited from creating new accounts.

We maintain records of all DMCA notices and counter-notifications for compliance purposes. Account termination for repeat infringement is non-appealable.
