Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the StarSkore website, mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StarSkore Inc. ("StarSkore," "we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. By using StarSkore, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years old.
• You have not been previously suspended or banned from the Platform.
• You are not a convicted sex offender.
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Platform, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or breach.
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these responsibilities or appear to be fraudulent or impersonating another person.

4. Creator Agreement

Celebrities and creators who wish to access Creator Tools and verification features must agree to additional terms:

• Document Submission: You must submit valid government-issued identification for identity verification.
• Approval Process: Our team reviews all applications within 24–72 hours. Approval is at our sole discretion.
• Creator Tool Access: Access to posting, live streaming, and analytics is granted only after successful verification.
• Content Standards: All creator content must comply with our Content Policy and Community Guidelines.
• Representation: You warrant that you are the person you claim to be and have the right to represent any entity you claim to represent.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you post, upload, or share on the Platform ("User Content"). However, by posting User Content, you grant StarSkore a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content on the Platform and in promotional materials.

This license is solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform. You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities. For a complete list, please refer to our Content Policy:

• Posting hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content.
• Sharing sexually explicit or violent content.
• Impersonating celebrities, public figures, or other users.
• Manipulating ratings, followers, or engagement metrics.
• Spamming, phishing, or distributing malware.
• Doxxing or sharing private information of others without consent.
• Using the Platform for illegal activities.

7. Blue Tick Terms

The Blue Tick (✅) verification badge is subject to the following terms:

• Eligibility: Available only to verified creators with 1,000 or more followers.
• Application: One-click application from your profile once eligible.
• Revocability: StarSkore reserves the right to revoke the Blue Tick at any time for violations of these Terms, the Content Policy, or Community Guidelines.
• Non-Transferable: The Blue Tick is tied to your verified identity and cannot be transferred, sold, or shared.
• Not an Endorsement: The Blue Tick confirms identity only. It does not constitute an endorsement of content quality or character by StarSkore.

8. Leaderboard Terms

The StarSkore Celebrity Leaderboard operates under the following rules:

• Fan Ratings Are Final: Once submitted, a rating cannot be changed. Users may update their rating once per 24-hour period for the same celebrity.
• No Manipulation: Creating fake accounts, using bots, or coordinating mass ratings to manipulate rankings is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent ban.
• Algorithm Transparency: Rankings are based on a weighted average of all valid fan ratings. The exact weighting formula is proprietary but designed to prevent gaming.
• Disputes: StarSkore has final authority over leaderboard disputes and rankings.

9. Live Streaming Rules

All live streams on the Platform must comply with the following:

• Streamers must be verified creators with active Creator Tool access.
• All Content Policy rules apply in real-time during streams.
• Streams may be monitored by automated systems and human moderators.
• Streams containing prohibited content will be terminated immediately and may result in account suspension.
• Streamers are responsible for content shared by viewers in live chat and must moderate their chat accordingly.

10. Moderation & Enforcement

StarSkore enforces these Terms through a graduated enforcement system:

• Warning: First-time minor violations result in a warning and content removal.
• Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations result in temporary account suspension (7–30 days).
• Permanent Ban: Severe violations or repeated suspensions result in permanent account termination.

All enforcement decisions are made at StarSkore's sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide warnings before taking action.

11. Termination by StarSkore

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or any Platform policy.
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
• At the request of law enforcement or government authorities.
• Technical or security concerns.

Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will cease, and you must stop using the Platform immediately.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARKSKORE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARKSKORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to StarSkore in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

If you are located outside the United States, you agree that any legal action must be brought in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
