Content Policy

1. Our Community Standard

StarSkore is a platform where fans and celebrities connect, share, and celebrate talent. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users. This Content Policy outlines what is and is not allowed on the Platform.

All users — fans and creators alike — are expected to follow this policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

2. Allowed Content

StarSkore welcomes content that is positive, entertaining, and respectful. Examples of allowed content include:

• Entertainment content: music, acting clips, comedy sketches, sports highlights.
• Lifestyle content: behind-the-scenes moments, daily life updates, fashion posts.
• Live streams: Q&A sessions, performances, tutorials, casual hangouts.
• Fan ratings and respectful comments about celebrities.
• Community discussions about celebrities, trends, and pop culture.
• Original creative content that does not infringe on others' rights.

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on StarSkore:

Hate Speech, Racism, and Discrimination

Content that attacks, demeans, or incites violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.

Nudity or Sexual Content

Explicit sexual content, nudity, pornography, or sexually suggestive content involving minors. Artistic or educational nudity may be permitted at our discretion with appropriate warnings.

Violence, Gore, and Self-Harm

Graphic violence, gore, content glorifying self-harm, or encouraging dangerous acts. News-related violence may be permitted with appropriate context and warnings.

Harassment, Bullying, and Doxxing

Targeted harassment, cyberbullying, or sharing private personal information (doxxing) of any individual without consent.

Misinformation and Fake News

Deliberately false information that could cause harm, especially related to health, elections, or public safety.

Spam and Fake Engagement

Spam, fake ratings, bot activity, coordinated manipulation of follower counts or leaderboard rankings.

Impersonation

Creating accounts that impersonate celebrities, public figures, or other users. Verified creators must maintain accurate representation of their identity.

Content Involving Minors Inappropriately

Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. This includes inappropriate comments, images, or interactions directed at minors.

4. Reporting

Users can report violations through the in-app reporting tool. Reports can be submitted anonymously. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 48 hours.

To report content:

• Tap the three-dot menu on any post, comment, or profile.
• Select "Report" and choose the appropriate category.
• Optionally provide additional details to help our team investigate.

False or malicious reporting is also a violation of this policy and may result in account action.

5. Enforcement

Violations are addressed through a graduated enforcement system:

• Warning: First-time minor violations. Content is removed, and the user receives a warning notification.
• Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations. Account is suspended for 7–30 days. During suspension, the user cannot post, rate, or interact.
• Permanent Ban: Severe violations or repeated suspensions. Account is permanently disabled, and the user is prohibited from creating new accounts.

All enforcement decisions are made by our human moderation team. We do not use automated content removal for complex violations.

6. Severe Violations

The following violations result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualization of minors.
• Terrorism or violent extremism content.
• Credible threats of violence against individuals or groups.
• Distribution of malware or phishing attacks.
• Human trafficking or exploitation.

In these cases, we cooperate fully with law enforcement and may preserve evidence as required by law.

7. Blue Tick Revocation for Policy Violations

Verified creators who violate this Content Policy face additional consequences:

• Blue Tick (✅) badge may be revoked for any violation that results in suspension or ban.
• Revocation is permanent for severe violations.
• For minor violations, creators may reapply for verification after 90 days of clean activity.
• Revocation does not affect the creator's verified identity status, but removes public badge display.

8. Creator-Specific Rules

Verified creators are held to a higher standard and must additionally:

• Label sponsored or paid content clearly.
• Not use their platform to promote scams, pyramid schemes, or unverified medical claims.
• Respond to reports and moderation requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate profile information and not misrepresent their identity or achievements.
• Not use live streams to broadcast copyrighted content without authorization.

9. Appeals Process

If you believe your content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you may appeal:

• Submit an appeal through the in-app appeal form or via email.
• Include a clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect.
• Our appeals team will review your case within 7 business days.
• Decisions on appeals are final. Repeated frivolous appeals may result in account restrictions.
