Community Guidelines

1. Welcome to StarSkore
Hey there, star-gazer! Welcome to StarSkore — the place where fans like you get to rate, follow, and celebrate the celebrities you love. We're building something special here: a community that's fun, safe, and fair for everyone.
These guidelines aren't here to kill the vibe — they're here to make sure the vibe stays amazing. Whether you're a fan dropping ratings or a creator sharing your world, these simple rules help us all shine brighter together.
2. Be Respectful
StarSkore is for celebrating talent, not tearing people down. Here's what that means:
- Disagree without being disagreeable. It's totally fine to give a low rating or share criticism — just keep it constructive. "This album wasn't my favorite" is cool. "This person is trash and should quit" is not.
- No hate, ever. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any form of discrimination has no place here. Not in comments, not in ratings, not anywhere.
- Don't attack other fans. Everyone has different tastes. Just because someone loves a celeb you don't doesn't make them wrong — it makes the community more interesting.
- Be kind in live chats. Live streams are real-time fun. Keep the chat positive and welcoming for everyone watching.
3. Keep It Real
Authenticity is everything at StarSkore. Here's how to keep it 100:
- No fake accounts. Don't create accounts pretending to be someone else — especially celebrities. If you're not Ariana Grande, don't say you are. Our verification system catches fakes, and impersonation gets you banned.
- No rating manipulation. Your ratings should reflect your genuine opinion. Don't create fake accounts to boost or tank someone's score. Don't coordinate with others to mass-rate a celebrity. The leaderboard works because it's honest — let's keep it that way.
- Don't buy or sell accounts. Your account is yours. Selling it or buying someone else's violates our terms and undermines trust.
- Be honest about who you are. If you're a creator, verify your identity. Fans deserve to know they're following the real deal.
4. Protect Privacy
Everyone deserves privacy — celebrities included. Here's the golden rule:
- Don't dox anyone. Sharing someone's home address, phone number, private email, or other personal info without consent is a serious violation and will result in immediate ban.
- Respect boundaries. Just because someone is a public figure doesn't mean everything about their life is public. Don't share private photos, leaked content, or personal details that aren't already publicly available.
- Don't stalk. Following someone's public posts is fine. Tracking their location, showing up uninvited, or harassing them across platforms is not.
- Keep DMs appropriate. If you message a creator, keep it respectful. Unsolicited explicit content or harassment in messages is treated the same as public harassment.
5. Support Your Stars
Being a fan is about lifting people up. Here's how to be the best fan:
- Rate honestly. The leaderboard works because fans give real ratings. A 10 means you genuinely think they're at the top of their game. A 5 means there's room to grow. Both are valid.
- Engage positively. Like, comment, and share content that resonates with you. Creators see your engagement and it means the world to them.
- Share responsibly. When sharing content outside StarSkore, respect the creator's rights. Don't repost private or exclusive content without permission.
- Celebrate diversity. Support creators from all backgrounds, genres, and categories. The best leaderboard is one that reflects the full spectrum of talent out there.
6. How to Report
See something that doesn't feel right? Speak up! Reporting helps keep StarSkore safe for everyone.
- In-app reporting: Tap the three dots on any post, comment, or profile and select "Report." Choose the category that best fits the issue.
- Anonymous reports: You can report without revealing your identity. We take every report seriously.
- What happens next: Our human moderation team reviews all reports within 48 hours. If action is taken, you'll be notified (unless you chose to report anonymously).
- False reporting: Don't report content just because you disagree with it. Reporting a post because you don't like the celebrity is abuse of the system and may result in action against your account.
7. What Happens When Rules Are Broken
We believe in second chances — but we also believe in protecting the community. Here's how we handle violations:
- First time, minor issue: You'll get a warning. Content may be removed. No big deal — just learn and move forward.
- Repeated or moderate issues: Temporary suspension (7–30 days). Use this time to reflect on how you can contribute more positively.
- Serious or repeated violations: Permanent ban. This is for hate speech, harassment, doxxing, fake accounts, or manipulation. No appeals for severe cases.
All decisions are made by real people, not robots. We look at context, intent, and history before taking action.
8. Special Rules for Celebrities/Creators
With a platform comes responsibility. If you're a verified creator, here's what we expect:
- Be authentic. Your fans follow you for the real you. Don't misrepresent your achievements, relationships, or identity.
- Engage respectfully. How you interact with fans sets the tone for your entire community. Lead by example.
- Label sponsored content. If a post is paid or promotional, be transparent with your fans. Trust is everything.
- Moderate your live chats. You're responsible for the environment in your live streams. Use moderation tools to keep chats positive.
- Don't exploit your platform. Using your verified status to promote scams, harmful products, or misleading information will result in verification revocation.
9. Protecting Minors
StarSkore is for users 13 and up. We take the safety of young users extremely seriously:
- Users under 13 are not allowed. If we discover an underage account, it will be deleted immediately.
- No inappropriate interactions with minors. Any adult user engaging inappropriately with a minor will be permanently banned and reported to authorities.
- Parents and guardians: If you believe your child is using StarSkore underage, contact us at support@starskore.com and we will take immediate action.
- Content involving minors: Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors is prohibited and will result in immediate ban plus law enforcement referral.
